Mrs. Mary Ellen Nicholas, 76, Villa Park Care Center, died Monday morning at Trinity Regional Hospital of natural causes. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bruce Funeral Home with the Rev. Otis McQuary, United Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Washington Township Cemetery, Duncombe. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Among the survivors is a sister, Mrs. Daisy McOsker, San Jacinto, Calif.
Mary E. Buxton was born in Clare and later moved with her family to South Dakota and then to Wisconsin. She moved to Fort Dodge where she married Chester Nicholas. He died in 1961. She continued to live in her own home until entering the Villa Park Care Center.
