Funeral Services for Mrs. Arnett
(nee Annie Jane Fisher)

Funeral Services for Mrs. Alva Arnett, 1602 Fifth avenue south were held Friday afternoon at the Wilder Funeral Home. Dr. J. F. Hutchinson of the First Methodist church officiated.

The pallbearers were M.C. Tullar; P. F. Tierney; A.O. Oleson; William McGough;
L.A. Weiss; and Tony Hotek. Mrs. Myrtle Olson sang two solos accompanied on the piano by her mother Mrs. Rydlund. The selections were “Abide With Me” and “The City Four Square”. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Although Mrs. Arnett had been an invalid for more than four years she never lost interest in the various groups and organizations with which she was identified. Among her interests the Woman’s Relief corps, Woodmen’s circle, Rebekah lodge and the Methodist church in all of which she took an active part.

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Arnett of Peru, Neb; Mrs. Charles Pitsor of Clear Lake, Mrs. R.G. Sherman of San Diego, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fisher of Laurel, Neb., Mr. And Mrs. Frank Arnett of Nevada, Iowa, and Paul Adwell of Rockford, Ill.
