Funeral services for Mrs. TJ Carroll, 84, of Evanston, Ill, former Ft. Dodger, will be held at 8:30 Thursday morning at Laufersweiler funeral home and 9 at Corpus Christi church. Burial will be in Corpus Christi cemetery. Mrs. Carroll, the former Mary Kelly, was born in Hamilton NY and as a child came to Webster county with her parents. She attended Corpus Christi school and was married here to TJ Carroll. They lived her after their marriage. Mr. Carroll died in 1938 and Mrs. Carroll moved to Evanston. Mrs. Carroll died at her home in Evanston on Monday. She is survived by a son Robert E., 3 daughters, Miss Mary and Miss Ellen Carroll of Evanston; and Mrs. Robert McDermott of Ft. Dodge. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and four sisters. The latter are John Kelly of Stickney, SD; William Kelly, Mrs. Katherine Fetrow and Miss Nora Kelly, all of Duncombe; Mrs. Agnes Burke of Omaha, NE and Mrs. William Gormally of Ventura, CA. The body will arrive in Ft. Dodge early Wednesday morning and friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m.
