DR J.E. GALVIN ARRIVED IN CLARE ,IA in 1919 according to our famous 1886-1919 ST MATTHEWS PARISH book~~He moved to FT DODGE in 1924~~and died at the young age of 44 years~~
I often think of him and the many CLARE babies that he delivered~ "When he had to travel in a sleigh with snow higher than the snowfences"~~MARCH 1923~~~~ The 6 children of MABLE & WALTER STRAIT were just a few HE HOME DELIVERED ~~~~and there even was an IOWA STATE SENATER~~
Now that geneology is "the thing" I wonder if there is any of his "TREE" that a person could communicate with~~or any one that can give some information on his childhood~~Where he was born , cause of his death ,etc~~
I'll bet there are a few stories that CLARE people could relate ???
