death record or obituary

I am looking for an obituary or tombstone record for the above man, whose name may appear in 4 ways. He was born in Floyd County, Indiana and deserted from the union forces in 1862. His last child was born in 1869 in Iowa (both Wayne County and Des Moines are mentioned in other documents) and by 1872, his wife married a 2nd time, suggesting his demise by that year.
