Hello Aletha,

All my relatives on my father's side were Iowans. They lived primarily in Mitchell and Howard counties and around the city of Riceville, Iowa. I am rather new to this genealogy research and trying to locate more information about my father's line of descendancy. I have learned that his father, my grandfather, was Monroe S. Mosher. My great grandfather was John Mosher, and my great, great grandfather was William Lamberd Mosher. With the exception of finding my great, great, great grandmother's name (last name-Rideout) I have hit a wall. I know that W.L. Mosher was born in Rhode Island in 1787 and died in New York in 1860. Do you have any information about this line of the family that you could pass on?
