Boyd Abel, 65, Dies Suddenly

Boyd Abel, 65, life time resident of Wayne County, died suddenly following a heart attack at his home near Humeston Friday. Mr. Abel had not been feeling well a few days prior to his death, but it came as a shock to his family and friends.

He is survived by his widow, Grace, two sons and one daughter, Marvin and Maynard of Humeston and Mrs. Floyd Seward of Des Moines, also five grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Jan. 17 from the Hutchinson Funeral home at Humeston with burial in Kirby Cemetery.

NOTE: Boyd was born on December 12, 1888, and died on January 15, 1954.
