(The New Era Humeston, Iowa March 3, 1920)

THINGS THAT other PAPERS TELL ... From the Wayne County Democrat: Miss Margaret Allen died at her home in this city Monday, being a victim of pneumonia following influenza, after a short but very painful illness. Funeral services were held at the grave Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock conducted by her Pastor, Rev. W.A. Morgan. Margaret Evelyn Allen was born in Virginia May 29, 1849; early in life her family moved to Iowa and she has spent most of her her life in this vicinity. For the past forty years she has been bound in her chair almost helpless and in continual pain, yet she has borne it with Christian fortitude.
