Kenneth D. Paul, 84, of rural Brighton, died Sunday, November 11, 2018, at University Hospitals in Iowa City. He was born January 3, 1934 in Jefferson County to Doyle J and Nellie M. Rubey Paul. He graduated from Fairfield High School. Kenny married Mary Lu Hayes in Washington, January 1, 1953. Kenny is survived by his wife, Mary Lu, 4 children; Cindy Paul, Marshalltown, Rick Paul (Nancy), of Monroe, Kathy Goedken (Kelly Soukup) of Washington and Jacky Walker (Doug) of Washington; 13 granddchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one sister, Roberta Durian (Fred) of Iowa City and one brother Richard Paul (Sandra) of Mt Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
