Lena Rose Houseal, age 91, of Burlington, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Apr 4, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Lena was born May 20, 1927 at home in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of James Oral and Elsie (Kiesey) Davidson. Lena was united in marriage to Samuel Houseal in June 1956 in Washington, Iowa. She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Rose Knotts and husband Michael of Burlington; and Beth Anne Ripple and husband John of Burlington, IA; three grandchildren; Shenda (Ken Vikturek, Shon (Amber) Knotts; Bradley Stevens (Jessi); Michael Ripple; and Mary (Chad) Watkinson; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Shane Houseal; sisters, Donna Markin and Drothy Patterson; and brother James Davidson.
