William Harry "Bill" Hazelett, age 80, of Washington, Iowa, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019, at the M. L. McCreedy Home in Washington. Bill was born May 23, 1938, in Ainsworth, Iowa, the son of Paul Frederick and Myrna Carol (Sands) Hazelett. Bill was united in marriage to Phyllis Ann Brown on November 3, 1963, in Washington, Iowa. Through this marriage they were blessed with four sons. He is survived by his sons; Brian Hazelett and wife Tracie of Raleigh, North Carolina; Brad Hazelett and fiance Dawn Roeder of St Paul, Minnesota, Brent Hazelett and wife Jennifer of Cary, North Carolina; and Greg Hazelett and wife Kristin of Muscatine, IA; 7 grandchildren; brother, Paul G. Hazelett and wife Sue of Washington, IA and sister, Myrna M. Tappan and husband Don of Leesburg, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and Sisters-in-law, Joan Hazelett and Jan Hazelett
