Kathryn Yoder dies today

KALONA - Kathryn Yoder, 72, died this morning at her Kalona home after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church with the Rev. Dean Swartzendruber officiating. Burial will be in the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial has been established in her name.
Mrs. Yoder was born Sept. 20, 1900, at Middlebury, Ind., a daughter of Daniel D. and Jennette Hostetler Miller. She was married Dec. 24, 1923, to Ray A. Yoder. She was a member of the Lower Deer Creek Church.
Surviving are her husband; two sons: Robert K. of Kalona and Hobert of Iowa City; and two daughters: Mrs. Dale (Kathleen) Swartzendruber of West Lafayette, Ind., and Mrs. Nelson (Marjorie) Waybill of Scottsdale, Pa. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
