Funeral Services On Monday For Mrs. Glenn Wahl

Funeral services for Mrs. Glenn Wahl were held at 2 o'clock Monday, August 25, 1969 at the Peterseim Chapel with the Rev. John Woodin in charge. Interment was made in Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona.
Mrs. Wahl died at the University Hospital, Iowa City Saturday morning, August 23 at the age of 68 years, 4 months, and 25 days. She had been hospitalized for the past three weeks. She had been ill several months.
Mrs. Wahl was well known throughout the state as an antique dealer and had a very large collection of items. She was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Ferne Walker was born March 28, 1901 at Lone Tree, a daughter of Daniel and Ida Mae Luscombe Walker. On December 6, 1919 she was married to Glenn Wahl at Kalona, she had been a resident of Kalona since that time.
Survivors include her husband, a foster son, Robert Hartley, and four grandchildren, Kalona; two sisters, Mrs. Ardell Johnson, Kalona; and Mrs. Goldie Dodson, Sedona, Arizona; three brothers Shafter Waler, and Marvin Walker of Lone Tree, and Dale Walker of Letts.
