Chris J. Glick
KALONA - Chris J. Glick, 70, of Pearl River, La., a former resident of Kalona, died Wednesday at Pearl River following a sudden illness. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church in Kalona, with Morris Swartzendruber and David L. Yoder ministers in charge. Burial will be in the Gingerich Cemetery in rural Kalona. Friends may call at the Peterseim Funeral Home Saturday morning.
He was born June 11, 1905, to John and Magdalena Miller Glick at Kalona. He was employed as a plumber and was affiliated with the Pentacostal Faith.
Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Aaron (Anna) Glick, of Lancaster, Pa., and Mrs. Moses (Katie) Bontrager, Mrs. Tobe (Lydia) Bontrager, Mrs. Ralph (Martha) Schlabaugh, and Mrs. Enof (Ada) Miller, all of Kalona. Two brothers preceded him in death.
