VERN JOHN MOSS

RIVERSIDE - Vern John Moss, 81, retired truck driver, died Monday in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, following a short illness.

Survivors include his wife, Iva; a son, John of North English; three daughters, Marilyn Bender of Riverside, Betty Funk of Iowa City and Mary Branch of Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services: Thursday, 1:30 p.m., Sorden's, where friends may call after 1:30 p.m. today and where the family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight. Burial: Riverside Public Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
