Charles Edgar "Chuck" Hootman, 82, of Washington, Iowa, died Jan. 29, 2014.
A graveside service with cremains is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sandyhook Cemetery, near Brighton, with full military honors.
Beatty-Peterseim Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa, is handling arrangements.
Mr. Hootman was born May 26, 1931, in Fairfield, the son of Fred and Eva Philips Hootman. He married Betty DeWolf Sept. 9, 1950 in Fairfield.
