Mrs. Richardson was brought here from Ottumwa Saturday evening and was buried in the Old Cemetery by the side of her first husband, Wm Moore an old timer here. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Pomeroy at Ottumwa.

Her first husband was William Moore and her second husband was W. C. Richardson. She was aged 89 years, 5 months and 9 days. She was born in Pennsylvania and was a daughter of James Patterson and Mary Whiteside also born in Pennsylvania.

She was a step mother of Tom Moore of Moore & Linscott, old time grocery men here. William Moore her first husband died in 1864. James Moore was a son of hers and he went to Holton, Kansas many years ago and is president of a bank there which his half brother, Tom Moore founded.

James Moore and Mrs. Pomeroy were here for the burial which took place right from the Milwaukee train. Rev. Sawhill conducted a short service. The pallbearers were J. S. Shearer, Wm. Blair, Mase Scott, Col. Palmer, Sam Logan and Charley Keck.
