Norman Palmer Schilling, 89, of 314 West Jefferson Street in Washington, died Tuesday 25 Dec 1979 at the Washington County Hospital. He had not been well for several years but was seriously ill only a few days.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Washington, Iowa.

He was born Thursday 6 Mar 1890, in Washington County, a son of Thomas Michael and Hettie Badger Schilling. He was raised in Washington County and married Estelle McGlone 25 Nov 1920 in Washington. He was a painter.

He is survived by his wife; and a son, Ralph R. of Des Moines.
