Francis L. Pickering, 73, of Pleasant Plain died Sunday, July 10, 2011, in Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Wellman.
Mr. Pickering was born Nov 11, 1937, in Pleasant Plain, the son of Cloyce W. and Beulah M. (Wolfe) Pickering. He married Sharon Armstrong on June 23, 1963, in Brighton.
Surviving are three children, Thomas and wife Susan of Pleasant Plain, Jesse Chris of Pleasant Plain, and Mark of Mount Pleasant; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchlildren; one brother, Lonnie of Wayland; and two sisters, Kay Whitaker of Pleasant Plain, and Debbie Dunbar of Pleasant Plain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, on July 6, 1999.
