Mrs. Marie Deutsch dies June 23.

Riverside - Mrs. Marie Deutsch, 60, of Plaza, N.D., died Thursday, June 23 at the Rochester, Minn. State Hospital following a lengthy illness.

The funeral was Monday, June 27, at 10 a. m. at the St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Parshall, N.D. The Burial was in the Spring Valley cemetery.

Mrs. Deutsch was born in Riverside March 28, 1923, the daughter of Richard and Ida Schnoebelen. She married Carl Deutsch at Riverside June 24, 1948. She was a cashier in the bank of Riverside until she was married, when she and her husband went to Plaza to settle down on the farm. Mrs. Deutsch was a member of the Plaza Homemakers and the Farmers Home Administration Board at Stanley, N.D.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart church and Alter society in Plaza.

Surviving are her husband; four sons, Bob of Northwood, N.D., Jim of Bismark, N.D., Paul of Watford City, N.D., and Keith of Edgeley, N.C., and two daughters, Joan Norby of Rolette, N.D., and Colleen Lannen of Plentywood, Mont.,; her mother, Blanche of Riverside; four brothers, Lester, Paul, Ralph and Russell; and one sister, Mildred Thomann, all of Riverside.
