Dennis Dean Lemley, 64, of Washington, died Sunday, Feb 1, 2009, in the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a short illness.

Mr. Lemley was born Mar 10, 1944, in Iowa City, the son of Lloyd and Ida (Stohlman) Lemley. He married Lois Brown on Sep 21, 1996, in Washington.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Ron Lemley and wife Kim of Harrison, Ark., Richard Lemley and wife Ann of Harrison, Ark., and Tim Hill and wife Tina of Washington; eight grandsons; one granddaughter; one sister, Donna Putney and husband Morris of North Liberty; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother, Richard.
