Obituary in Iowa City Press Citizen newspaper (Iowa City, Iowa); 10 Feb 1972:
Riverside Deaths:
"Albert Novy, 82, died at his home in Riverside early today. Services will be Saturday at 1 pm, at the Sorden and Adams Chapel, the Rev. Earl Stephans officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Novy was born August 28, 1889, in Riverside, the son of Albert and Anna Novy.
He married Dora Grecian, October 7, 1955, at Kalona.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow, and three step children.
He was preceded in death by three brothers."
