Walter J. "Shorty" Hotle, 71, of East Pleasant Plain, died Tuesday, Apr 20, 1993, at the Washington County Hospital. Hotle was born near Rubio on Mar 29, 1922, to Walter and Ada (Singleton) Hotle. On July 25, 1966, Hotle married Anita Ball in Lancaster, MO. He is survived by his wife, Anita, of East Pleasant Plain; three daughters, Sandra Houget, of Mt Pleasant, Rebecca Vogt of Richland, and Deanna Lane of Fairfield; a son Robert of Zion, IL.; three stepchildren; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marian Dickinson, of Richland. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Wanda Derby; and one step-son.
