William H. Edgar, 70, of Crawfordsville, died July 2, 1980. He was born near Crawfordsville, Jan 10, 1910, a son of William J. and Bessie Martin Edgar. He was married May 27, 1931, to Alice Hotle. Surviving are his wife; three sons; Harlan and James of Crawfordsville and Samuel of Perry, MO.; four daughters; Mrs. Kermit (Patricia) Jenkins, of Ainsworth, Mrs. Raymond (Nancy) Wombacher of Iowa City, Mrs. Linda Swift of Denver, CO., and Mrs. Larry (Ellen) Waggoner of Cedar Rapids; 27 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters; Mrs. Lois Hansen and Mrs. John (Lela) Elliot of Phoenix, AZ.; and Mrs. Keith (Mary) Lord of Washington. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
