Florence Elizabeth (Betty) Patterson, 16, died this morning, Jan 30, 1942. She was born May 8, 1925, in Washington, the daughter of John and Carrie (Baker) Patterson. Surviving relatives include her mother, Mrs. Carrie Patterson; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Moore of Washington, and Mrs. Irvin White of Keota; a brother John W. Patterson of Washington; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Baker of Washington; her grandmother, Mrs. James Patterson of Burlington; a niece, Judy Belle White of Keota.
