Lawrence A. Howell, 84, of Winfield, died Sunday morning, July 24, 1983, at Washington County Hospital. Lawrence Albert Howell was born Feb 10, 1899, in IL., the son of Albert and Mary Mutton Howell. On May 9, 1931, he married Geneva F. Shebeck at Iowa City. Survivors include his wife, Geneva of Winfield; one son, Everette L. of Letts; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Barbara)McAllister of Mt Union, and Mrs. Tom (Beverly)Murphy of Miles; six grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters, Meda Odle of Williamsport, IN., Arthur Howell and Beula Hammond, both of Morocco, IN., Mabel Rolls and Ewart Howell, both of Indianapolis, IN., Eldon Howell of Wausau, WI., and Ida Ketterman of Valparaiso, IN.
