Bert Brown, 63, son-in-law of Frank Hoover and former resident of Fairfield, died Saturday, Aug 7, 1945. He was born in Clay Community Nov 6, 1881, the son of Alonzo and Josephine Nelson Brown. He married Vera Hoover. He is survived by three children; Mrs. Maxine Giese, Galesburg, IL., George Brown of Davenport, Mrs. Clifford Atkins, Fairfield; his mother, Mrs. Josephine Hendricks and a brother, Clarence; and a sister Mrs. Frank Parcell of Fairfield. His wife died several years ago.
