Mrs. Anna Trier, 77, died Wednesday Sep 9, 1953. Anna M. Palm was born Nov 8, 1875, in Washington County, the daughter of John and Katherine Streit Palm. On Feb 7, 1899, she was married to Joseph Trier in the Clear Creek Catholic Church. Mr. Trier died Apr 24, 1947. Survivors include one son, Raymond, of Keota, one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Sondag of Keota; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are seven sisters; Lena Palm, Mrs. Nick Hahn, Mrs. Charles Fosdick, of Keota, Mrs. Mary Kleinschmidt of Sigourney, Mrs. Gertrude Streit of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Clara Brown, of Fairfield, and Pearl Palm of Albia; one brother, Laborius of Dubuque. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
