Former Keota resident and Wellman resident Dennis Duane Trier Sr., 65, Mingo, died of cancer Mar 31, 1998, in Des Moines. Dennis was born Apr 6, 1932 in rural Keota to Raymond and Cora (Baker) Trier. On Oct 17, 1954, he married Sharon Koob in Keota. Survivors include; four children, Patrick J. of Portland, OR., Kevin C. of San Diego, CA., Dennis Jr. of Glendale, AZ., and Lynn Prescott of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Vernette Crawford of Washington, and LaVonne Kerkove of Ankeny; two brothers, Verle of st. Elmo, IL., and Robert of Des Moines; and two grandchildren. He was prededed in death by his parents, and two brothers, Donald and Merlin in infancy.
