Hiram Robert Jacobs, 59, died today, Nov 7, 1957. Mr. Jacobs was born Aug 19, 1898 in Washington, the son of Martin and Elizabeth Baker Jacobs. He was married in 1919 to Hattie Riley who died in 1930. Survivors include seven children; Robert Jr. of Riverside, David of Dallas, TX, Milford of Columbus Junction, Mrs. Betty Schaffer and Harry Jacobs of Packwood, Clifford of Washington, and Mrs. Marie Stagers of Richland; two step ons; Alfred and Dale; three sisters; Mrs. Walter Whisler, Mrs. Lulu Yoder of Washigton, and Mrs. Jack Schneider of Cedar Rapids; and two brothers; Howard of Cedar Rapids, and Neal of Birmingham. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren.
