EARL STOCKMAN FUNERAL SUNDAY
WEST CHESTER YOUTH DIES IN HOSPITAL AT DES MOINES

Funeral services for Earl Stockman, 19 years old, will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the L.A. Jones Funeral Home conducted by Dr. F.W. Witzigman of the Methodist church, followed by burial in the Brighton cemetery.

The body was brought to the funeral home last night from Des Moines, where young Stockman died in the Methodist Hospital. Three weeks ago he went to Des Moines in search of work and while there became ill and was taken to the hospital. Pneumonia was given as the cause of death.

He was the son of W.F. Stockman, living nine miles northwest of Washington in the West Chester communmity, and had lived most of his life at home. He was born April 4, 1914, on a farm north of Fairfield, a son of W.F. and Anna (Dencker) Stockman, who moved to their present home eleven years ago. Mrs. Stockman was killed in a runaway accident eight years ago.

Earl attended the West Chester schools and since leaving school had worked when he was able, although his health had not been good.

Suriving him are his father and three brothers and sisters, John of Washington, Sam of Knoxville, William of Brighton, Mrs. Osie Martin of ___, ___ Clark of Toledo, _____ of West Chester, _____ Island, Virgil, Mrs. Dora ____, ___ of Toledo, ______. (Last corner is torn away.)
