James HODGE, b. 1831, Scotland came to Indiana then arrived in Warren Co, Iowa about 1855. There he married Julia Ann OXENREIDER and between 1857 and 1869 they had 5 children. James Henry, Mary M. A., Robert Sims, Samuel, Frank. In the mid 1870's the family moved to Humboldt County, California. I have many more details and would like to contact anyone working on this family. Robert Sims HODGE is my Grandfather.
