Services for Donald Forret, 64, who died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 26 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with cremation following services.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene; step children, David Fairfield, Debbie Fairfield and Shawn Dyke; grandchildren, Tamisha Dyke Sewell, David Walker, Amber Walker, James Walker, Courtney Walker, Joshua Fairfield, Aaron Fairfield and Shannon Fairfield; great grandchildren, Trent Willis, Shawn Walker, Garreth Walker, Heidie Walker, Carter Walker, Isabelle Dyke,
Sarafina Walker and Gabriel Walker; brother, Richard (Elaine) Forret and nieces, Traci (Jesse) Maninch and Kristi Forret; and great nieces, Kayla and Emma Rieger. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 25 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Indianola Community Youth Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com.
