Vera passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Beryl in 2004; daughter, Linda Davis; sister, Ruby Renfrew and brothers Verle and Orbie Brittian.
Surviving are her children, Larry (Joan) Eakins, Betty (Duane) Chance, Charlotte (Ron) Brommel; son-in-law Robert Davis; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren and two brothers Doyle and Eldon Brittian.
Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. for her visitation. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, Ia. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. memorial Gardens Cemetery in Indianola.
