(October 1, 1971 - December 13, 2020)

Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” Crall, 49, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, in Des Moines. Private Family Mass will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020. You may join the family on our Livestream beginning at 10 a.m. on Cynthia’s obituary page of Overton Funeral Home’s website.
Cindy was known affectionately by her childhood nickname “Mouse.” She grew up in Milo, graduating from the Southeast Warren school district, Class of 1990. Cindy graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Exercise Science. She worked for Lucas County Health Center, and later for the State of Iowa. Cindy worked for the DHS for the past 19 years.
She married her husband, Kenny, in 1999. They welcomed their son, Ben, in 2005. Cindy enjoyed watching the Iowa State Cyclones, Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers and Southeast Warren athletic events.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny; son, Ben; father, Tom Fridley; brother, Rod (Julie) Fridley; father and mother-in-law, Ed and Sally Crall; brothers-in-law, Dan (Rachel) Crall, Chad Crall. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ann Fridley; brother, Gary Fridley; aunt, Jean Smith; uncle, Ken Clary. Cindy is also survived by her nieces and nephews Mandy, Jenny, Jessica, Derrick, Courtney, Brandon, Zach, Erin and Riley. She is also survived by her favorite cat, Smokey.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Milo, IA, where family will be present from 4 to 8 p.m. to greet friends. Face masks are required. Memorial contributions may be given to the Holy Trinity Parish or Milo Fire and Rescue in her name.
