Myrna Ogburn
(June 22, 1943 - January 29, 2021)

Myrna Ogburn is one of seven children born to Shocky and Ellen Mishler. On April 4, 1964 she married Ray Ogburn. Together they raised two girls and two boys, Wendy Coddington, Lisa (Doug) Shaffer, Dave (Jess) Ogburn and Tim (Rochelle) Ogburn. She has seven grandchildren, Mersadie (Paul) Deininger, Isaac (Mariah) Coddington, Dune Coddington, Nathan Ogburn, Alexandria, Caiden and Malachi Ogburn and one great grandson, Maxton Coddington. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, her parents and brother’s Gary, Henry and Ron.
When she was a young girl her parents studied the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. As Myrna grew-up she also dedicated her life to Jehovah. She spent a lot of time in the volunteer ministry work. She never met a stranger. She lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She cleaned offices for a living. Her favorite flower is a dandelion, because it is pretty and you can eat them.
Myrna’s favorite thing to do was help others by sharing her hope for the future to live in a paradise earth. She loves to show people in the Bible that God’s name is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) and a future where God will wipe every tear from their eye and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry or pain will be anymore. (Revelations 21:3,4). She looks forward to seeing her dear husband as well as many family and friends again. She also wants to leap like a deer
