Karma Darlene Wilkinson
(April 27, 1933 - April 16, 2022)

Karma Darlene Wilkinson went to be with the Lord and Savior April 16, 2022. She was born April 27, 1933 on the Davey Homestead near Milo, Iowa to John Rex and Mayme (Roe) Davey. She graduated from Beech High School in 1952 and was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She met her husband Gordon J. Wilkinson at Milo United Methodist Church and they were married May 17, 1952. They had 65 wonderful years together.
They enjoyed doing everything together, vacations, cruises, traveling coast to coast, and camping with family. They both retired at the same time, with Karma retiring from McCoy True Value in Indianola, after 24 years. Karma was an active member of the Indianola Regular Baptist Church, until health problems prevented her from attending. Her Christ centered life was a testimony of her faith.
Karma and Gordon were blessed with three children, Katherine and (Dan) Stutsman of Arizona, Gary and (Marcie) Wilkinson of Florida, and Kayla and (Scott) Sieloff of Iowa; five grandchildren, Richard Stutsman, Tom and (Carrie) Stutsman, Bethany Hagardt, Heidi Wilkinson and Shelby and (Brandon) Jorgenson; three great grandsons, Jason and Zachary Stutsman and Jackson Jorgenson. Karma loved them all and enjoyed quality time with her family and making them feel special. She loved helping others to brighten their day. She had four siblings, Charles Allen Davey, Glenn and (Carol) Davey, Betty and (John) Bumgarner, and Shirley (LaVern) Zimmerman; and a sister-in-law, Lois (Larry) DuBois. Karma was preceded in death by her parents, John Rex and Mayme Davey; husband, Gordon Wilkinson; and son, Gary Wilkinson; brother, Charles Allen Davey who died in infancy; brother-in-law, LaVerne Zimmerman; sister-in-law, Carol Davey; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Johnny Bumgarner; and brother-in-law, Larry DuBois.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2022 at Indianola Regular Baptist Church. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery. Memorials to be given, in Karma’s name, to Indianola Regular Baptist Church.
