Paul C. Brennaman
Paul Clifford Brennaman, fourth child of George and Flora Foster Brennaman, was born Jan. 27, 1892, in English Township, Lucas County, and died Jan. 20, 1961, at the Yocom hospital at the age of 68 years, 11 months, 24 days. On Dec. 24, 1960 he entered the hospital, having broken his hip in a fall. He received his schooling in English Township and when a young boy united with the First Presbyterian church where he attended services for many years. Later he united with the Assembly of God church in Chariton. He served his country in World War I, receiving an honorable discharge at the close of the war. He was married to Winnie Moore June 12, 1920. After their marriage they located on a farm and followed that occupation for many years until his health forced him to give up farming and move to Chariton. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Irma Stuart. He leaves to mourn his death, two sisters, Lula E. Dunshee and Jessie Dunshee, both of Chariton and one brother, Dr. R. B. Brennaman of Melcher, also several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. , Jan 23, at the Assembly of God church. The Rev. Gaylord Correll officiated. Interment was in Newbern Cemetery. Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home had charge of the services.
