Venus Vincent
(October 10, 1847 – November 30, 1925)

Venus Vincent, who has been quite ill with cancer of the stomach, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Clark, west of Lacona, Monday, November 20th. He was seventy-eight years of age. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James Clark, Mrs. Grace Killein and Mrs. Mable Luderback, and one son, John. His wife passed away several years ago. His son, Lemuel, preceded him in death about a month ago. He also leaves two brothers, J. T. Vincent, of near Liberty Center, John Vincent and one sister, Mrs. Barbara Henson, both of Des Moines. The funeral was held at the Clark home Tuesday with interment at the Hendrickson Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved relatives.
