George Shellhammer Dies
George Shellhammer died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. R. Talley, Wednesday evening, September 2nd, at 7:30 o’clock. Mr. Shellhammer was born February 2nd, 1832, and was 93 years and 7 months and the day of his death. For a number of years he, with his family, resided in this city, when he was engaged in active work as a carpenter. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 4:00 o’clock from the Talley home.
