Mother of Prof. Watson Is Dead
Mrs. Addie Cole Watson died at the Indianola hospital Wednesday evening, April 24, after a short illness. Mrs. Watson was born in Port Jervis, N. Y., Nov. 15, 1871. Aug. 24, 1893 she married John Calvin Watson, for many years principal of the Milford, Pa. high school. She is survived by one son, H. F. Watson, Simpson faculty member; two grandsons, Robert F. Watson, S 1/c U.S. Navy, and Stuart T. Watson; and one brother, Edward Q. Cole of Yonkers, N. Y. Brief funeral services will be held at the Orr Funeral Home Friday, April 26, at 3:30 p.m. Further services and interment will be held at Milford, Pa. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
