Orvil L. Kerr
(February 22, 1854 – January 28, 1924)

Orvil L. Kerr, son of Lysle and Anna Kerr, was born in Ohio, Feb. 22, 1854, and departed this life Jan. 28, 1924 at Hartford, Iowa at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 6 days. He was the youngest of 12 children, all of whom preceded him in death. He came with his parents to Palmyra in 1860, where he lived until death claimed them; then he moved to Milo with his sister, Mrs. Gilbert, where he lived for thirteen years. After her death, Aug 8, 1917, he came to Hartford, where he lived until his death.
