Shirley Ann Holmes
(April 17, 1944 - March 6, 2019)

Shirley Ann Holmes, 74, passed away March 6, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Helen Keith, her husband Bill Holmes, and her brother Elmer Dale Keith.
Shirley is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Russell (Marissa) Keith and Richard (Beth) Keith; sister-in-law Pat Keith, aunt Carla King, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Shirley was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 17, 1944. She attended North High School. She worked as a certified nurse's aide. Shirley enjoyed fishing, crafting, baking, meeting new people, and spending time with family and friends. She was always happy and could best be described as a big ball of sunshine.
A remembrance and celebration of her life with family and friends will be held March 17, 2019 from 2-4pm at Granger Nursing and Rehabilitation located at 2001 Kennedy St. in Granger Iowa.
