Ella Louise Moore
(June 2, 1933 - April 20, 2019)

Ella Louise Moore at age 85 passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at her home surrounded by family in Des Moines, IA. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Buck" Moore, Sons Daniel, Jamie and Ricky Moore, She is survived by her children Carole (David) Fitzgibbon, Council Bluffs, IA., Steven (Mary) Moore, Loveland, CO., Charles (Lora Jean) Moore Jr., Boone, IA., Tracy Herrig, Des Moines, IA; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Louise was born to the late Milton and Ethel Town, June 2, 1933 in Milo, IA. Louise loved flowers and worked several years as a florist at Hy-Vee and the Carlisle flower shop before retiring. She enjoyed church and had cherished memories traveling the country with her husband in their retirement years. Louise's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Funeral service is scheduled at the Carlisle Christian Church, 305 Market Street, Carlisle, IA at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April, 23, 2019 with a luncheon to follow. Interment will follow lunch at Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
