Catherine Marie Fitzgerald
(September 28, 1944 - April 26, 2019)

Catherine Marie Fitzgerald, 74, passed away at Westview Care Center in Indianola. Catherine was born September 28, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Minnie Nelson. A celebration of life will be held June 8 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at 210 Columbia in Carlisle.
Catherine loved spending time with her family, and especially loved cooking for them. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She always loved making candies and cookies to share with everyone. Catherine enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. She was also a great seamstress and could sew anything put in front of her. Catherine retired from Drake University where she worked as a secretary form the Law Clinic.
Catherine is survived by her children; Robert(Lori)Fitzgerald, Raymond(Kathy Jo)Fitzgerald, Ricki(Donna)Fitzgerald, Robin(Vance)Fitzgerald Marlow, Renee Fitzgerald, Roger (Sharon) Fitzgerald, Rhonda(Brian)Fitzgerald Clark and Rex(Tammy)Fitzgerald; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
