William Ephraim Cole
(December 6, 1877 – November 6, 1923)

William Ephraim Cole was born December 6th, 1877, at Kellogg, Iowa, and died November 6th, 1923, being 45 years and 11 months old. His parents were George and Amanda J. Cole. He had five brothers and one sister, all of whom were here except two brothers. The father passed away 32 years ago. The mother, Mrs. Moon, of Hastings, Neb., was also here. He made profession of faith and connected with the Congregational church at Fontanelle, Iowa, when he was 19 years old. He was married August 12th, 1900 to Emma F. Cue, of Fontanelle. To this union nine children were born, who, with their mother, survive him, and are as follows: Mrs. Vera Reed, Saunders, Minnie, Ella Fern, Zelma, Marie, Melvin, Hazel and Scott, and one grand daughter, Margaret Louise Reed.
