Gerald Eugene Schall
(February 6, 1939 - September 22, 2019)

Gerald Eugene "Butch" Schall, 80, of Runnells, passed away on September 22, 2019 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will take place at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 10:30 am. A visitation will take place from 6-8 pm Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will follow funeral services in Lowman Cemetery in Runnells. A luncheon will follow the committal at the Runnells Christian Church.
Gerald was born on February 6, 1939 in York, Nebraska to Howard W. and Helen M. Schall. Gerald was a farmer and owned his own corn shelling business, worked for AMF, All American and Polk County.
Gerald is survived by his sister, Marge Colyn of Des Moines; brothers, Jim(Norma)Schall of Runnells, Dan(Jan)Schall of Pleasant Hill; sister in law Pat(Larry)Bistline of Runnells, and special friend of many years, Diana Stubbs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kay L. (McCoy) Schall, and his siblings, Alice Jean, Howard "Buddy" Schall and David R. Schall.
Memorial in Butch's name can be made to the Runnells Fire Department.
