Vanessa Bailey, 53, of Indianola, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. Vanessa was born on April 29, 1966 in Marshall, Michigan to Jack Shepherd and Janet Quigley.
Vanessa is survived by her husband of 31 years, James Brian Bailey; two children, daughter Nichole Michelle Bailey and son James Brian Bailey Jr. and his wife, Melissa Bailey; three brothers, Dale Shepherd, Darren Quigley and Jason Shepherd; two sisters, Tina Otis and Rachael Switzer-Hubenak; step parents, Deborah Shepherd and Doug Quigley; two grandchildren, Allyson Bailey and Owen Ripperger.
At Vanessa's request a small service will be conducted at 11:00 on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa with Susanne Gerlach officiating.
There will be a gathering to further celebrate Vanessa's life for family and friends following graveside services with light snacks at Jim and Vanessa's home from 2:00 - 4:00 on Monday, December 2, 2019.
