(September 20, 1948 - February 14, 2020)

Linda Sue Reed, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 71. Funeral services for Linda will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 5-7:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow funeral services in the Carlisle Township Cemetery.
Linda was born in Des Moines. She lived in Carlisle in her younger years and lived in Des Moines later on. Linda retired as a CNA to become a housewife. She loved playing bingo and watching her brothers race and provide for her grandkids. Linda also liked any family function where she could spend time with her family and friends and riding around town seeing what was going on. As she got older she liked to watch family feud and any judge show that came on.
Linda is survived by her brothers and sisters in law, Linda Jager-Killen, Frank and Pam Killen, Vern(Bucky) Killen, , daughter Phyliss (Reed)and Jim Johnson, son Richard Reed Sr., son in law Leeroy Moreno, grandchildren Crystal (Adrian) Gomez, Michael (Jamie) Reed, Richard (Kelsey) Reed Jr., Brian (Jessica) Schillinger Sr.; 12 great grandchildren, Anthony Reed, Olivia Gomez, Braden Reed, Sarina Reed, Abigail Reed, Emma Reed, Chloe Mcginn, Richard Reed III, Annabelle Reed, Brian Schillinger Jr, Brayden Schillinger, Brianna Schillinger.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Killen, Vernon "Buck" Reed, Daniel Ochoa, Dave Killen, John Killen, Donald Killen, Tom Killen Sr., Linda Killen, Terri Killen, Vince Basil.
