Randy Ray Freeman
(August 18, 1952 - March 5, 2020)

Randy Freeman passed away on March 5, 2020 in Osceola, Iowa.
Randy was born on August 18, 1952 to Doretha and Gerald Freeman in Des Moines Iowa. Randy spent most of his life in Iowa. starting in high school Randy worked as a carpenter and framer as long as his health allowed. When Randy was 22 he met the love of his life Jo. They spent the remainder of his years together. Randy and Jo raised five children together. They have 4 grandkids and a handful of great-grandkids. Randy also had a humor that only people that knew him understood. He was always playing jokes and pranks on everyone. He loved working on his Harleys as well as getting involved with Toys for Tots. Randy loved charities that involved riding his bike with his road family and blood family. Randy enjoyed playing Pinochle, fishing and helping raise his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Randy is known as “Papa” by the kids and “Animal” by friends and family. Randy is survived by his companion Jo, six sisters, four brothers, 5children, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gerald Jr, and his stepson Myron Freeman.
